As part of our tradition, each year we introduce an annual theme. This year’s theme is Madness. On Saturday, 27th September 2025, we will present three dedicated selections around this theme.
Madness invites us to confront the unpredictable and often disorienting forces that shape our world today. Across personal, societal, and global scales, the theme explores the fragile boundary between order and chaos, perception and reality, reason and the irrationality.
Madness emerges in quiet shifts, in vast landscapes, and in the spectacle of human ambition. From the intimate echoes of loss to the disruptive changes of societies, and from the surreal to the real, the theme becomes a lens through which we witness the human condition in all its complexity. Sometimes subtle, sometimes overwhelming, but always transformative.
We are asked to look closely at the world, at ourselves, and at the spaces in between where empathy appears, hope persists, and madness reveals both our vulnerabilities and our capacity to endure.
